Bunkerin' Down

Update - we don't live at the bunker anymore... thank goodness.

I noticed that the images of the apartment, "the flat", that Charles posted looked a little stark. Just wanted to provide a second montage to show how we have settled in. It's not the Four Seasons, a little more like "Someone forget to paint for like the last 40 seasons?" - anyhow, it's home for right now.

Here's my tour of the place. Wonder when the guys from Architectural Digest will be stopping by...

Waiter.... Caption Contest

Waiter, there's a soup in my fly!

My friends tell me that I eat like a bird.

The service here is for the birds.

You want fries with that?

Submit your captions here... winner gets lunch with the bird... he said to put it on his bill. (Ouch, sorry...)

Trip to Mt. Keira Lookout

Mt. Keira is just at the end of our street. The first week I was here, the chemistry department had a going away party for a few team members at the lookout on Mt. Keira. I lent my camera to one of the girls who was leaving - she actually took all the pictures - but I'm glad she did.

Here's a slide show:

So yeah, we have a chance to go live in Australia. Wait a minute, that means there's this pesky house to sell. If we all have our debt to society to pay, my balance should be zero for awhile.
